How to update an iButton tag

If an iButton tag gets lost or needs replacing, you will need to update the old iButton number assigned to this driver. To do this, you will need an iButton reader to read the new tag.

 

Follow the steps below to update an iButton number:

Step 1

From the side menu select Settings > Users and drivers.

Step 2

Use the search function to find the driver whose iButton needs replacing.

Step 3

Click on the blue Edit icon to open the editable page on this driver. 

Step 4

Scroll down to the Driver ID Tag box and delete the old number, ensuring the curser remains in this box.

Step 5

Use the iButton reader to read the new iButton number so that it appears in the Driver ID Tag box.

Step 6

Scroll down and press the blue Save button.
